PHOTO PROMPT – Copyright Janet Webb

Caught in the frost,
The flower froze.
So did the time,
Froze in the cold.

Sprinkles of snow,
Brightened the space,
Aloof was the aura,
And the spirits, dampened.

Fragments of mist,
bond together in the chill.
Wrapped in fog,
Ahead and beyond.

Dreams, desired the warmth,
Hope, flare up from within,
Little more to go,
And will kiss the sun,
Where the frost was once!
