A forgotten tune,
A neglected smile,
An overlooked stone,
The sedentary life weeps!
A tune playing in repeat,
A smile that is welcoming,
A pebble so unique,
The gifted life marvels!

I’m so glad you post such pretty pictures along with these beautiful verses. These pebbles really caught my fancy. Where were they taken Vinitha?
Thank you so much for your lovely post and for linking up with us at #WordlessWednesday.

I’m glad you liked my effort, Natasha. These pebbles were found inside our apartment complex while we were on our evening walk. This was my son’s discovery. 😀

Pretty pebbles, Vini…and such beautiful lines, too!
I am not too much into poetry, but, are you trying to suggest we think of our life as gifted to notice the beauty that lies in the little things, instead of ruing that we lead a sedentary life and how we neglect all that’s beautiful? I hope I am not wrong!

That’s exactly what I was trying to tell, Shilpa. Sorry it came across a little confusing. 😀

Those are such beautiful pebbles, reminding me of beaches I have visited. I love their blue color. Yes, unique.

I love these pebbles. Sometimes even the most everyday objects can evoke within us thoughts and emotions that lie buried deep inside. Your poem is very unique and beautiful, Vinitha—just like the pebbles. Thanks again for joining our #ww linkup this week. I look forward to your photos and the accompanying verses each week. Keep them coming. 🙂

Thanks a lot for the kind words, Esha. I’m glad that you liked my attempt. These ordinary things can guide our thoughts to an unknown direction, can’t they?
