Wordless Wednesday 47

WW 47

A forgotten tune,
A neglected smile,
An overlooked stone,
The sedentary life weeps!

A tune playing in repeat,
A smile that is welcoming,
A pebble so unique,
The gifted life marvels!

  1. I’m so glad you post such pretty pictures along with these beautiful verses. These pebbles really caught my fancy. Where were they taken Vinitha?
Thank you so much for your lovely post and for linking up with us at #WordlessWednesday.

  2. Pretty pebbles, Vini…and such beautiful lines, too!
I am not too much into poetry, but, are you trying to suggest we think of our life as gifted to notice the beauty that lies in the little things, instead of ruing that we lead a sedentary life and how we neglect all that’s beautiful? I hope I am not wrong!

    1. These pebbles are found right in our apartment complex. My son was so happy when he stumbled upon them. Thanks for the visit and appreciation, Alana. 🙂

  3. I love these pebbles. Sometimes even the most everyday objects can evoke within us thoughts and emotions that lie buried deep inside. Your poem is very unique and beautiful, Vinitha—just like the pebbles. Thanks again for joining our #ww linkup this week. I look forward to your photos and the accompanying verses each week. Keep them coming. 🙂
