There isn’t much I yearn,
A little time on my own,
To converse with musings that chance my way,
To pen down some that happen to stay,
In solitude, I create a world thus,
Without traveling the four corners of the world that is,
However, it remains dear to me always,
Though, musings abandon me at times,
A figment of my imagination all this, you may cite,
My favorite of all, this world, despite!
Above poem is written for Day 4 of Barathon hosted by Blog-A-Rhythm inspired by the prompt “Four Corners of the World”.

A writer’s world has a life of its own! We travel the world without getting out of our chairs.

Let the world label it figment of imagination, but this world of our own thoughts is the best place to be lost in! May this world of yours flourish with each passing day so that we get showered with such lovely creations! Good one Vinitha.

Beautiful thoughts, and it really resonates because we all go through times when the muse goes elsewhere. But, then again, the muse always seems to return.

That’s how a writer thinks or reminisces. I named my blog soniasmusings because musings is what I pen down. Very beautiful poem.Glad to be back on this page.

Loved your beautiful poem, Vinitha. I can totally relate to what you say and how I too go through the same cycle of thoughts and emotions. My muse also plays hide and week, but I never give up. Was actually waiting to read your post since yesterday. 🙂
