A simple act
A time to enact
Stay away to gather again
Stand alone to stand together
And preserve the humankind

A speck,
Finding a spot
Claiming a lot
Masquerading as a power
Aren’t we all?
A speck,
In this Universe
Not knowing what’s in store
Pretending to have a voice
In this Universe
Aren’t we all?
The truth is we have no control over our lives. It’s fleeting, it’s transient, it’s disappearing with every moment that passes by. But we immerse ourselves in such fruitless debates pointing fingers at each other claiming that “I am right”. And if “I am right” “you must definitely be wrong”. We are humans. Tiny humans. Life is a happy meeting of fellow humans until death claims it permanently. If only we learned to live together harmoniously… If only we learned to live with agreeing to disagree and still be friends…

Drifted from its path
Heralding a change in season
Graceful and unique
Writing a Haiku after a long time. Though I cheated with an extra syllable, I couldn’t perfect it the way I would have liked. This stray battered-looking leaf landed upon the window of my car one afternoon and I clicked immediately. It looked so perfect perched on the glass window. It was my little one’s birthday yesterday. Sharing some pictures of him and a few lines to mark the day. 🙂
Looking through the photos of yesterdays’,
I’m reminded of the time that’s disappearing fast
Your naughtiness troubling me every moment,
Yet, that’s something I would cherish for years to come
The anger I shower,
As you try to climb a wall or get inside a cupboard
Only because I love you so much more,
Your senseless adventures knock the sense out of me, dear
But, never let go of your curiosity,
No matter how scared it makes me
That’s a wish I have for you,
My crazy adventurer, who melts my heart!

long lost and forgotten
in memories linger
a freezing cold loitering
the empty streets of yesteryears

inLonely was only the soul,
Wandering musings never got tired
Of jumping from branches spread so wide.
