I feel happy today! After so many days, I am back here and I am so happy to be back. We are getting settled in our new place and only today the broadband got activated. That was a long wait of 2 weeks. Before that we were staying in the hotel for more than 2 weeks. Trust me moving around isn’t easy, especially with a kid! No, I am not going to bore you with the all those details. Instead today I am writing my gratitude list.
1. Obviously top on my list is getting connected with the virtual world again. What would I do without the internet! I found out the answer to that, these few weeks. It was like being tied. I was restless and impatient. Everything else was normal but I felt totally abnorml! I am in no way ashamed to admit that I find it a challenge to live without internet and I don’t want to accept that challenge, ever!
2. I am thankful that we found a house in 2 weeks time and getting settled down here. Even though this place is new for us, we have our old friends here, so getting comfortable isn’t as hard.
3. Even though I am not a passionate cook, I am glad to be back in the kitchen. I got a long 3 months leave from my cooking because of the India visit. Of course, I miss eating without even stepping inside the kitchen, but I did miss having my own kitchen.
4. Life sure will bring surprises, some good, some bad, some we like, some we don’t. Whatever be the state of life, wherever we stay at, however we live it, it doesn’t matter as long as we have a good companion. I can’t thank enough for getting to share my life with my husband and my kid.
5. I am so grateful that I am writing this post. I was feeling kind of depressed staying away from the blogging world. Without reading other blogs, leaving no comments, not showing my love here at my blogs, I was desperate to get back here. Needless to say, I discovered blogging keeps me sane.
And yeah, that’s my list of gratitude.
Did I say that I am happy to be back? Are you? 🙂

I guess writing a blog is like the old concept of a diary. After all it started, “Dear diary.” There is nothing more stressful than moving house. I hope you can soon settle down and find peace.

Welcome back and congratulations on the new home. You are lucky to have found a home you like in 2 weeks. I and my husband roamed around for a home for 3 to 4 months.

Tell me about it!! I’m more worried about changing Kanna’s school this frequently.
Come back whenever you can, Anamika. Then again, we just have to sit and write to make it happen. It’s easy for blogging to take a back seat and once it does so, it is harder to get it back on track.
