These photos capture the view from my in laws verandah. When I am there, I feel like sitting on nature’s lap. But then, all of Kerala is a paradise of greenery. Although new houses are overtaking the landscape around their hundred year old house, nature has left its signature all around that place.
Often we overlook the treasures around us and within us, considering them mundane and trivial. Just because something or someone graces us with their presence every day, doesn’t diminish its beauty and worth. That someone or something could be as simple as you or your skills.
Value the simple things, the simple you. The beings surrounding you. And nurture what can be nurtured. Life blossoms with genuine abundance when we learn to value and nurture.

Oh what a lovely sight Vinitha and must be such a joy sitting here and watching these trees. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. I feel saddened but the commercialisation but not sure what is the other way. Looking forward to seeing you around on the 13th.
