I Fear… #FictionMonday #ProsePoem

I Fear… #FictionMonday

I don’t fear getting lost. One will get lost only when there are things or people to surround with.

I don’t fear finding my way out when I am lost. Eventually one will find the way out. That’s the unwritten law of the universe.

I don’t fear being stuck in the labyrinth. Of innumerable pathways, of mind games, of darkness, of obstacles, of emptiness… It’s impossible to stop moving, be it the body or the mind. We are beings created to keep moving.

I fear the inability to question, to ponder, to explore, to own. Because then, I lose the credibility of my being. Because then I stop being me and become a copy of something or someone else.

I fear that. Only that.

So I question, ponder, explore, own and thereby, nurture my being.

  1. I loved this, Vinitha. It is also something new that I came across. A prose poetry.
Yes, it is so important that we question, ponder, explore, lest we lose our human-ness.
