Kindness #Poem

Kindness resides in the dark corners of people’s mind,
Like a tiny spark ready to be ignited,
To flood the mind with the light of a kindness,
When life seems to be nothing but a pile of dread.

How else are we always finding a way ahead
When everything seems to be at a loss?
The path emerges as we show kindness to ourselves
and the mind shines in its glory!

  1. I believe kindness can be contagious.it does need a little bit of spark before it spreads like wildfire. Showing kindness to ourselves is just as important. Beautiful words Vinitha.

  2. I read this for the first time, but it still kept me in the dark, Vinitha. So, I have come back to read this again. It makes sense now. Most times it is kindness that has shown me the light. I’m not the torch-bearer, but I learn to be thankful for those who have shown me the power of kindness through their deeds. I wish someday I have that abundance of kindness shining within me to help myself and others see the spark 🙂
