A Walk in the Rain

Today it rained in the afternoon. My little one wanted to go for a walk in the rain, holding the umbrella. Unfortunately, by the time we stepped outside, the rain had cleared, leaving only puddles behind. We wandered around with the umbrella in hand, hoping the rain would return, but in vain.

An hour or so later, lightning and thunder filled the air, and then came the rain. This time, we set off without wasting a second. It was such fun to see Akku enjoying a walk in the rain. The lightning and thunder didn’t scare us away. At first, I thought we were the only crazy, brave souls venturing out, but soon we noticed others with their kids walking in the rain, just like us.

I didn’t click any photos during the walk. Sometimes it’s enough to simply enjoy the moment without the need to capture it through a lens. But I did manage to capture the after-rain glory when we went for a drive later.

It was a good day.
