It happens too fast—
the scenes that flash before your eyes,
before you can drench in that beauty,
before your eyes can feast on
the gorgeousness unfolding.
It disappears right in front of you,
leaving behind only a trace
of what was—
the camera holding a fragment of the sight,
a mere attempt,
a veiled shadow,
while the mind rushes back
to hold on to the feeling.
That’s the thing about roadside sceneries—
they slip away mid-breath,
like something you almost touched…
like life, isn’t it?
