We are seven days into December, already. November just whooshed away, is it? I signed up for NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo when November arrived. By the mid of November, I fell ill and couldn’t continue with blogging daily and that was the end of NaBloPoMo. As far as the NaNoWriMo was concerned, I already had a feeling that I was doing a terrible job there. I couldn’t write every day, but I managed to write around 5000 odd words. That is around only 10 percent of what I was supposed to write.
But the good news is that I haven’t abandoned my novel, not yet anyways. I am continuing to write in my laptop, in my notepad, on my phone, whenever and wherever the musings strike. I guess this will be an ongoing process now. This is a different kind of experiment for me, a very new and thrilling experience for me. Since I am not stressing myself with finishing the work, I am rather enjoying the process as of now.
Of course, I will be signing up for next year’s NaNoWriMo, that’s what I think now. Because whether or not I reached the word count, signing up for NaNoWriMo was the best thing that I did last month. No regrets there.
So how was your life writing wise, completing challenge wise? Did you sign up for NaNoWriMo and completed 50000 words last month? How was the whole experience? Please share.
