Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.
~ Albert Schweitzer
This shot was captured when we were on our walk one evening. Lots of trees lined up on either side of the walkway greeting us. I couldn’t help but think – Are they watching us? Are they judging us? Are they passing comments on us? If so, then they are doing it silently, aren’t they. Something to learn from the trees, don’t you think?
Joining Parul at happinessandfood for #ThursdayTreeLove this week.

I am amazed at the sight of the trees and the background which appears quiet:) sometimes allowing silence in conversation adds value to the relationship, communication is not all words…. its also silence.. I read about lonely young women depressed and only communicated with trees and has left a suicide note stating how much the trees meant to her….I was shocked when I read her FB page and how she developed this habit from her grandfather who taught her to talk to trees… she was struggling to cope with the loss of her husband who died and recently ended her life killing her 7 year old daughter first and then herself..

I like how they use silence to communicate. Beautiful thought!
That’s a a tragic story! I wish she would have found some peace through her communications. How unfortunate is that she had to find peace in the arms of death, that too after killing her child!
Thank you visiting and sharing the story, Angela. 🙂

Yes, they are a witness to our lives, aren’t they? Ever since I read somewhere that trees can communicate with each other I’m a bit wary of what they’re trying to tell. 🙂

Never thought of it this way, Vinitha. Gosh, I better be careful around trees now! 😉

It is proven that the trees can actually listen to us and if they can listen I am sure they also must be able to communicate with their fraternity too 🙂
