Drifted from its path
Heralding a change in season
Graceful and unique
Writing a Haiku after a long time. Though I cheated with an extra syllable, I couldn’t perfect it the way I would have liked. This stray battered-looking leaf landed upon the window of my car one afternoon and I clicked immediately. It looked so perfect perched on the glass window. Lovely one. The haiku is beautiful and goes so well with that stray leaf. An intelligent one, Vinitha. Thanks for joining!
I hope to see you on the 24th.

I dont understand Haiku nor can I compose them but the way this one is inspired is what has struck me most from this post. Good effort Vinitha to use the inspiration so creatively 🙂

Well shot, Vinitha and I loved the Haiku! It’s one form that comes to me much easily now, that I’ve been dabbling in it for some time and I loved the imagery you created despite the extra syllable! The poem works and so beautifully!!
Thank you for joining us Vinitha and hope to see more pics and poems from you in the coming weeks.
Have a lovely week ahead!

Nice haiku! I’ve never been able to do this form of poetry any sort of justice!

Oh is it a leaf! To me, at first glance, it looked like a piece of stone or rock lying in the middle of a path. No wonder, I was left scratching my head to connect the haiku with the stranded rock 😀 ;D
I have to congratulate you for acting swiftly in clicking a picture of the stray leaf in your window. The haiku makes complete sense to me now.
