I just had a thought looking at your beautiful photo. It looks like the tree is dancing – what if they are dancing in the wind in very slow motion compared to how we move?
What a lovely one! As usual the verse is so beautiful. I loved the scene, the sky and those dim lights and the tree. So glad you joined, Vinitha. I hope to see you on the 13th.
True. Even when it appears that we can’t, we will get through by holding on to that strength from within. Thank you for your forever encouragement, Corinne. 🤗
That’s the spirit, Vinitha! That has also been my mantra through the toughest of times in life, Vinitha! When life gets challenging and you cannot escape its clutches, its that promise of our strongest self that makes us rise with every fall. I loved the image and how it portrays the essence of your poem so beautifully!

That’s amazing. I wonder if the tree hurts – it makes my back hurt looking at it, but maybe not – maybe it’s proud of its resilience.

Evocative and so powerful those lines, as is the picture, that stands out for it’s pretty image and resilience.
More power to you Vinitha! 🙂
