Unwelcome Pause #FictionMonday

Unwelcome Pause #FictionMonday

Sara couldn’t sleep that night. Usually, it was the noise from her daughter’s room that kept her up late in the night.

But now, things have changed.

She could hear the air moving around her. The pin-drop silence blared in her ears in full volume stopping her from sleeping.

Her life seemed to be in a forever pause without her daughter in the next room. Sara has to reinvent her life as an empty nester single parent.
