Simply Existing #ThursdayTreeLove

“We don’t ask a flower any special reason for its existence. We just look at it and are able to accept it as being something different for ourselves.” — Gwendolyn Brooks

Hibiscus bloom from my garden
Exist for the joy of it —
a splendid lesson nature teaches us every moment
Just be there,
As who you are
A profound meaning,
Hidden in plain sight
Exist, simply as you are
That’s all that is needed
That’s all that matters

  1. Love the message and you are right – exist and be there, stay out cos that matters. Love that bloom. Hibiscus along with many others is one of my favorite flower. thanks for joining and hope to see you back on the 25th!

  2. Such a gorgeous bloom, Vinitha!

Lovely message from nature that is true for all times. To be just as we are in a world that constantly pushes us to become someone else is necessary and something we must remind ourselves to be, from time to time. Loved your poem, too! 🙂
