Let it fall freely—
Words, thoughts, ruminations—
Without filter,
Without delay.
Let it not drown your mind.
Drop it off—
The weight of carrying “what ifs.”
Free your mind.
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Slowly.
Calm the nerves,
Reset the mind.
Sip that coffee,
Relax.
Without delay,
Let it all out—
The worries, the anxieties,
The expectations.
Relish the now,
Savor the present.
Life is beautiful,
When you slow down and face it,
Not as your enemy,
But as yours to own.

The weight of carrying ‘what-ifs’, indeed. Looking back with regret or looking forward with fear is such a waste of time and energy!

Easier said than done. But beautiful as always.

Beautifully worded, Vinitha! Love the concluding lines for the impact it creates! So much truth in owning the flow of thoughts, just as they are!
