Welcome to the two hundred and ninety-ninth edition of Fiction Monday.
Six years ago,
a beginning—
nudged by a few friends.
Today,
I prepare another edition—
the 300th.
Three hundred…
how insane is this?
I did not see this coming.
Week after week—
prompts, posts, and stories
shared by many writers.
Some stayed,
some moved on,
but all of them left something behind.
Stories gathered here,
quiet courage that filled me,
and the need to keep going.
I’m here,
remembering the footprints,
holding on to moments with gratitude.
Thank you
for passing by,
for giving me the courage to keep going.
Your presence,
however brief,
meant more than you know.
Thank you
for teaching me
to believe in what I do.
It has been
a beautiful journey.
Here’s to the 300th edition
of Fiction Monday—
and to all the pages still waiting to be written.

Word Prompt – RESOLVE
The idea is simple―to write. On Mondays, I will post a word prompt here. You have one week to respond with your musings.
The expected word count is between 50 and 500. You are welcome to share poetry, non-fiction musings, or fictional pieces. The whole idea is to write, share, and encourage each other.
Don’t forget to add the link to your story in the comments below. On Monday, April 20th I will share your creations here, along with the prompt for the 300th edition.
Happy writing.
