The greatest blessing
in anyone’s life
is being able
to be vulnerable
without
the fear of judgment
or the need
to explain.
When sorrow arrives
quietly,
unannounced,
at the mind’s doorstep,
it is natural
to feel defeated.
But let’s not rush
to hide the pain right away.
Let’s be vulnerable
when the moment calls for it.
Let’s be sad.
Let those tears roll down.
Let’s feel the pain…
without judging it,
without labeling it
as weakness
or unhappiness.
Let’s accept sadness
as just another facet of life,
a shade we don’t like to welcome,
an unsavory one,
an unavoidable one,
yet one that arrives
in its own quiet manner—
subtle,
yet loud enough
to be felt.
Let’s make space
for grief
and the pain it carries,
without rushing
to wipe away the tears.
Let’s not feel threatened,
as though these tears
are here to sink us.
Let’s cry
when aches
refuse to fade.
Let us witness how tears,
quietly,
leave behind
a fresh palette—
to begin again,
to dream again,
to feel enough again.
