Nothing is as lucid
as self-doubt.
So certain in its purpose,
so sure to follow through,
so clear in its aim
to bring you down.
Perhaps the only thing
untouched by self-doubt
is nature,
doing what it needs to do
without a second thought,
waiting for no validation,
no reward,
just carrying on
as it is.

Beautifully expressed. The image of nature quietly being itself, without seeking validation, stayed with me for long.
