Journaling is my companion whenever I feel uncertain about anything. Sometimes, I hesitate to fully open up and write about what has been bothering me.
I’ve realized that those are the times when I need my journaling sessions even more. The hesitation speaks to me—and about me. It reveals how deeply worried I am about something and how important the matter truly is.
I came to understand this through years of journaling and observing my responses and reactions, day after day.
I’ve learned to trust my journal.
Sometimes, it feels wrong—strange, even—to jot down the thoughts that take over my mind. But no matter how uncomfortable those lingering thoughts are, when I put them down in my journal, the discomfort begins to evaporate.
Journaling is my path back to myself, again and again.

When things feel uncertain, what helps you return to yourself?
Thank you, Corinne.
