Amy walked into the store, her handbag hanging from her shoulder and another bag dangling from her right hand.
“I want to return this.” She placed the package on the counter.
“Anything wrong with it?” the saleswoman inquired as she opened the package.
“Nothing wrong with the dress. The wedding is canceled,” Amy answered.
“That’s too bad. It’s a good thing you got the return protection when you purchased it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to take it back.” She checked the system in front of her. “See? You’ll only lose 10% of the original price. That’s great, isn’t it?”
Amy smiled in response.
Yeah, it’s a huge saving. Good thing the accident took him away a month before the wedding. Enough time to cancel everything without losing too much money, she thought miserably.
