Fiction Monday
Word Prompt – CONFESS
The idea is simple―to write. On Mondays, I will post a word prompt here. You have one week to respond with your musings
The expected word count is between 50 and 500. You are welcome to share poetry, non-fiction musings, or fictional pieces. The whole idea is to write, share, and encourage each other.
Don’t forget to add the link to your story in the comments below. On Monday, August 31st I will share your creations here, along with the prompt for the 319th edition.
Happy writing.

Apologize for the late entry Vinitha.

Never underestimate what your silence can do to someone who genuinely trusted you.
Ghosting may feel easier than having an uncomfortable conversation, but the person left behind can spend weeks questioning what changed, what they did wrong, and whether any of it was ever real.
If your feelings change, communicate. If something hurts, explain it. If you no longer want the connection, be honest. You are not only ending a conversation, you are leaving an emotional impact.
Closure is a kindness. Sometimes one honest conversation can prevent someone from carrying pain and questions they never deserved.
