I opened the editor, typed in Microblog Mondays and staring at the screen and it’s been exactly 31 minutes since. I have been missing joining in for Microblog Mondays since almost 2 months now. Mostly because my biological clock has stopped working since we landed in India. As we have nothing routinely scheduled for these days, I don’t know which day is which. Now, it’s good and bad as far as I am concerned. On one hand, I don’t have to get up early, cook, get my kid and me ready, it’s all free and easy now. We are enjoying the days and nights without any worries. I am not nagging Kanna to go to sleep early, he is able to watch shows he likes as much as he wants, he practices his writings when he wants to, he does not have homework to finish – it’s like summer vacation is here already for Kanna and me, and yeah, it is summer vacation in India now, but a bit early for us because in the UK vacation starts only mid-July.
This untimely vacation is giving us a lot of freedom, of course. But sometimes making me a bit nervous as I explained in my previous post, I miss the structure only a routine can bring. I am not the most organized person to stick to a routine when there is no need for that. 🙂 And yes, I believe that’s the reason I am not getting my thoughts right to write it down here. When we reached here I was actually amazed by how many stories and posts I could write because look anywhere I could see stories, so many of them. And yet here I am on a staring contest with my laptop screen, failing to direct my thoughts and writing a rant! Strange isn’t it?

Did you think this actually became a post for you! No, a real post!
This is also an experience for you and for us…to take some rest once in a while.

I am the same way. The structure of the routine becomes somewhat freeing, making things happen easily. Hope you find your rhythm soon.

Lovely post. Sometimes, we just need to go easy on things and let thoughts flow. Micro-blogging helps:)

Well, I would say relax..take it as it comes and read my today’s micro-blog. It’s kind of a solution. Practice Yin Yoga 🙂

I’ve been there myself. Sometimes it seems as though the words just aren’t there, and that’s ok. Glad to see you today, though. 🙂

It takes a long time to settle in a new place. I noticed this when we toured Australia in a caravan in the seventies. It took a couple of weeks before I could sit and spin wool, normally a peaceful occupation for me. Give yourself time.

Laptop screen staring contest…I have been there too. And you are so right there are stories everywhere here. This post does tell about what routine things you have not been doing. Why not write about what all you do everyday, just like your thoughts about that photo about sun rising from behind that coconut tree one morning. ?
