Quote Challenge – Day 1

Today morning I got a message from blogger Madhavi who blogs at My thoughts they are that she nominated me for the 3-day Quote Challenge. I did not stop to think, I have already made up my mind to accept the challenge as I have not been blogging for some time now and it was driving me nuts. You might be wondering then why I did not blog. Once you go into a hibernation it is kind of difficult to get out of it unless you have that kind of determination. I would easily blame it on the traveling and vacationing that started from the end of March, but then I proved myself wrong by committing to blog daily, well 26 days , for AtoZ challenge in the month of April. After that, I wrote rarely and couldn’t even finish the 7-day long Festival of Words by Write Tribe. Well, travel was the reason coupled with the unreliable internet connection. Once I fell into that slumber of not blogging it was hard to knock it off  and get back here, in the blogging world and yes, I was missing the action here. Last week I was online and started catching up with few blogs. And of course, reading is the first step of motivation to writing, right? So Madhavi, I can’t thank you enough for nominating me for the challenge. I definitely needed this!

Here are the rules for the challenge:

  • Post one of your favorite quotes(different quote on each day) on three consecutive days. The quote can be from your favorite book, author, or your own.
  • Nominate three bloggers to challenge them.
  • Thank the blogger, who nominated you.

One of my favorite quotes here –

Never, never, never give up.

– Winston Churchill

Now, that’s not really easy, is it?

As per the rule, I am nominating 3 bloggers to take up the 3-day Quote Challenge.

1. Anamika from the bespectacled mother.

2. Vidya from Words from my Heart and Head.

3. Shashank from Embark With My Thoughts.

Linking with #MondayMusings at Write Tribe.

  1. I can so relate to this post. (I meant slumber 😀 ) When you blog so often and then stop.. that unsettled feeling never goes. But then, catching up in the blogosphere always reminds you how much you’ve missed.

  2. Oh yes, we can get real comfortable in hibernation. I traveled to India post AtoZ for a month and was not able to blog there. I thought I will catch up as soon as I come back, but I procrastinated for a couple of weeks till I was annoyed at myself and my lazy ways. 😛 Now that I am back, I am determined to have a post up every week so that I don’t slip into hibernation again. 😀

I liked your choice of quote. A simple message which we always need to keep in mind. 🙂

    1. Yes Shantala. I was under the impression that I can write and blog whenever I want to but that was never happening. I’m trying my level best( well, that’s a lie 🙂 ) to be active now. 🙂
