  1. I’ve always thought the old “Where do you see yourself in five years?” was a dumb interview question. The right answer used to be something like, “On the other side of your desk.” But at some point, I realized I did NOT want any of my managers’ jobs. I liked being an individual contributor. I think that the last time I answered this question I said, “As speechwriter for the CEO.” Who was, at that time, Meg Whitman.

  2. I think I make a mistake that I do not visualize my future
in a complete way. Just steps and not the whole stair…
I have to rethink this subject. Thank you!
A fine week ahead, dear Vinitha!❤️😘

    1. I don’t know that this is a bad approach – in some ways, it may be the best approach. See the next few steps, but be open to taking a door on one of the landings before you reach the highest floor. Don’t miss opportunities because you’re hyperfocused on the ultimate destination.

      1. Thank you for your comment. Rethinking again, you are perfectly right.
We have to be present and alert on the path, because anyway the journey
could be more beautiful than the destination…

All the best and a fine weekend, Holly Jahangiri.❤️😘

  3. Petals of choices

    fall over destiny’s paths

    în the wind of chance.

    We find our way

    dancing our hopes and plans,

    between walls and chasms.

    Very inspiring poem!
