I used to share my gratitude entries regularly, until I stopped sharing them altogether. I still write them most days in my gratitude journal or my bullet journal, but somehow it became difficult to share them here.
Last night, I couldn’t stop thinking about the reason behind my hesitation to publish a weekly or monthly gratitude post like I used to. So I decided to break that hesitation by sharing my daily gratitude instead, as and when possible.
Sharing what I’m grateful for is in no way a means to boast about my life. It’s simply a way to count my blessings. To notice the extraordinary hidden within ordinary moments. To live more mindfully by acknowledging the simple joys.
Here are the things that made me smile today.
- Working out with Akku. We need to move our bodies, and it feels nice to do it together.
- Waking up at 6:45 a.m. That’s one of the perks of summer vacation. I can sleep in a little longer.
- Making my morning tea. Although I sometimes feel a bit lazy about getting up and putting the water on to boil, I find it a relaxing ritual. And of course, I get to sit down and enjoy my cup of tea. That’s a delight I always look forward to.

I’ve been seriously thinking of reviving the Gratitude circle we used to have. Your list is so short but so precious. I’m sure Akku treasures these moments with you!

Please keep sharing your joy. It’s a great reminder for the rest of us to count ours and it’s beautiful to hear yours

That’s a nice list, simple things in life we often miss on a gratitude write up. Thank you for reminding me as I lie here at 6am drinking my morning tea 🙏🕉️
