Fallen Dreams

Copyright-Kent Bonham
As I lay, deep inside the piles of to-dos you once wanted to accomplish, gathering dust, I doubt if you would remember me at all.
I hear your sighs about life getting in the way in living the dreams but is it fair to me – the once cherished goals, the desires you held onto, which contributed in shaping the new you, planning new goals, conquering new realms of life.
You told me that you will tend to me soon, but..
Here I’m laying in the corner of your heart, losing all the colors, un-cherished, unrecognizable – just let me out, please.
