Keep Moving Forward #FictionMonday

Is it the many detours
that make you forget your destination?
Better late than never—there’s still time,
as long as you’re alive.
Shed the apprehensions
and set sail again.
Even if you arrive later than desired,
or never reach the destination,
don’t give up just yet.
It’s better than tracing the same loops
again and again.
Along the way, you might gain new insights,
perhaps a perspective that makes the journey worthwhile.
Your discoveries aren’t just for you;
they should be shared with
those who’ve never seen through your eyes.
They don’t have to accept or rejoice in your progress.
But if you stand still, fearing you’re left alone,
you’re indeed left alone—not by others, but by yourself.
Isn’t that injustice?
Keep moving forward,
wherever you are in your journey!

  1. There is a saying about flowing rivers vs stagnant water. If one stays stagnant at a place, not moving in any direction, like stagnant water he/she rots. Thus one should keep flowing or, as you have written, keep moving forward.

    ‘Your discoveries aren’t just for you;
    they should be shared with
    those who’ve never seen through your eyes.’

    These lines made me have a look on your homepage to see that you have been hiding your recent discoveries and not sharing with others in the form of Mundane Monday posts 😀

    Share them… write them… blog about them… while you keep moving forward.
