A bloom to relish
For a little while
While it lasts.
A lesson it shares,
Of humble and flourish.
Dried it will be soon,
With no charm,
Neither glossy and radiant,
Petals one by one,
Awaiting its imminent fall.
A lesson to learn,
From this bloom,
To never hide your value,
However small or short it may.
What good it is
To be haughty and smug
Over your beauty and flair?
All will be lost tomorrow
When the sun shines a little too bright
Yet, nothing is lost forever
Because persistence will see you
Blossom and prosper again.
Cherish this bloom
While it lasts
Gracious as ever.

There’s so much to learn from Nature. But how many of us have time to think and ponder about it? Loved these words of yours. Very thought provoking.
BTW I have nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award which I hope you will accept

These are such beautiful lines and I felt compelled to scroll up to reach the beginning of the poem to read it once again till the end. When one looks at a flower, one may appreciate the work of nature in terms of the colours and beauty but to derive a lesson from even a small flower requires much of emotional intelligence.

Lovely words and definitely a lesson to learn about life itself from flowers – the picture is beautiful too.

How true!
” All will be lost tomorrow when the sun shines brighter…”
Those last lines make for the best lessons we can learn from nature.

As the older gen says, Nature is the best teacher. Open your eyes and you will see and learn so many things that can be adapted into our lives.
